Today’s gratitude is to write something positive about my body. I cannot say I love my body right now as I have gained a few pounds since Covid19 began. In addition to drinking my weight in wine times ten this summer which has not helped me in my efforts to shed a few pounds.
Despite the few extra pounds the one positive thing about my body is that it is strong and healthy. Having a strong, healthy physique is a good place to start when you love to walk daily and enjoy the outdoors.
I need to remind myself that I can still run 5kms, and I can walk for miles on end. I can still drop and do 10 burpees in a row following some mountain climbers. I am not perfect, but I am strong enough and healthy enough to do better.
My body is strong and healthy and for this I am very grateful. I will get to where I want to be once I start drinking as much water as I do wine (I don’t drink that much, but pretty sure the wine hasn’t helped me meet my weight goals!).
