I could have titled this blog as crap my mother pawns off on me. My Mom is an extremely generous and kind woman, but she is without a doubt a certifiable shopaholic of the worst kind. She is a woman who shops based on a delectable variety of enticing measures used by sales people & marketing for consumerism. She will buy stuff based on the advice of a hair dresser, or the people who have stands in the mall and rub creams on you promising miracles to occur in less than 48 hours.
The biggest whopper of all; it is like kryptonite to my Mom, is the 99 cents mark down; she would be a millionaire if she denied her addiction to the 99 cents sticker slapped on stuff. I am sure a sales clerk could say this turd was regular $10.00, but it can be your turd at the low price of 99 cents.
I love my Mom… BUT I am not taking her hand me downs anymore! She means well, but yeesh…
Day four’s purge is an expired container of eye drops, hand & nail cream from Israel (never opened) and two hair products for curly hair (my hair is wavy to straight). Everything is being given to good will, besides expired eye drops…
The moral of this post is to just say no to stuff you don’t need and will never use. Even if it is free, it is just taking up space if it doesn’t have a purpose or give you joy.
