I crossed the Tiber River in 2010, and despite it being the best decision I have made thus far in my life, it has come with a plethora of challenges. From Dogma to dating, this is a blog about a woman living as a practicing Catholic in a modern world, which isn’t easy!My goal is to bring some laughter to those who read what I have to say especially when it comes to my love life and former love life as a secular young lady.I know there are both men and women who face the same struggles many young Catholics do today, where the choices we make to follow God’s will goes against the grain of today’s society.
Besides being a converted Catholic, I am also considerably ordinary in many ways, with typical hurdles many single women have to face such as trying to be more spend savvy when it comes to living on a single income yet having an insatiable appetite for world travel and shopping of course! Throw in the constant exercise and watching what I eat, I know this blog will offer some solace to every woman out there regardless of creed or race.
Some biographical information, I live in the beautiful South End of Halifax, Nova Scotia with a roomie and three cats. From what I know, you must have five cats in order to qualify as a crazy cat lady. I only own one of the three so I think I am safe, he is a handsome Siamese boy by the name of Gershwin. He is way less stressful than the company of a man, and way more faithful despite the aloofness cats often display.
I welcome comments and feedback on anything I write. If I can elicit one laugh besides my own, I can claim success.
